Plagiarism Policy

International Journal of Research in Computer & Information Technology(IJRCIT) is having ISSN 2455-3743 (online), quarterly international journal, being published in the months of December, March, June and September by Global Advanced Research Publication House, Amravati, MS, India since year 2015.

Plagiarism is the copying of ideas, text, data and other creative work (e.g. tables, figures and graphs) and presenting it as original research without proper citation. Plagiarism is a serious violation. We define plagiarism as a case in which a paper reproduces another work with at least 20% similarity and without citation.

If evidence of plagiarism is found before or after acceptance or after publication of the paper, the author will be offered a chance to defend his/her paper. If the arguments are found to be unsatisfactory, the manuscript will be retracted and authors found to have been guilty of plagiarism will no longer have papers accepted for publication by MG Aricent.

Manuscripts containing plagiarized material are against the standards of quality, research and innovation. Hence, all authors submitting articles to IJRAT are expected to abide ethical standards and abstain from plagiarism, in any form.

CrossCheck is a multi-publisher initiative to screen published and submitted content for originality. MG Aricent uses the iThenticate software to detect instances of overlapping and similar text in submitted manuscripts. Wherever you see the "CrossCheck Deposited" or "CrossCheck Depositor" logos, you can be reassured that the publisher whose content you are reading is committed to actively combating plagiarism and publishing original research. To find out more about CrossCheck visit https://www.crossref.org/crosscheck.html.

IJRAT uses iThenticate similarity check software available to authors and researchers who wish to check their papers before submission. iThenticate compares submitted documents to extensive data repositories to create a comprehensive Similarity Report, which highlights and provides links to any significant text matches, helping to ensure that you are submitting an original and well-attributed document. 'turnitin' for Researchers is a separate service to CrossCheck.
